For more than 20 years, Hometown Heroes has been playing the best
local music in the Delaware Valley. In 2020, Hometown Heroes joined
the Delaware Public Media family. The show airs Sunday nights from
7 to 9pm on 91.1 WDDE in Dover, DE and
88.1 WMHS in Wilmington. Or you can stream it live at
delawarepublic.org.
Plus, there's a rebroadcast Wednesday nights at 9pm on Delaware Public Media.
There are two weekly rebroadcasts on WCHE 1520AM and 95.3FM.
Hometown Heroes Homey Awards
It's Homey Award Season!The 20th Annual Homey Awards will be recognizing the best in local music from 2025. The ceremony will be Sunday, April 26, 2026 at The Queen in Wilmington.
We are currently in the artist submission stage. If you want your music from 2025 to be eligible for this year's Homey Awards, click here.
Artist submissions will be accepted through Saturday, Feb. 21.
